WANGHEE

Wang*hee", n. Etym: [Chin. wang yellow + he a root.] (Bot.)

Definition: The Chinese name of one or two species of bamboo, or jointed cane, of the genus Phyllostachys. The slender stems are much used for walking sticks. [Written also whanghee.]
