mamzer (plural mamzers or mamzerim)

A child who is born out of wedlock, from an incestuous or adulterous relationship or from parents of different faiths; a bastard.

A contemptible person; a jerk.

(Judaism) A child born to Jewish parents whose relationship is forbidden by Jewish law, such as an unmarried man and a married woman, or whose mother is a mamzer. The term is often mistranslated as bastard.
