DUPLEX

Du"plex, a. Etym: [L., fr. duo two + plicare to fold. See Two, and Complex.]

Definition: Double; twofold. Duplex escapement, a peculiar kind of watch escapement, in which the scape-wheel has two sets of teeth. See Escapement.
