The Mongolian unit of currency; abbreviated MNT, ₮; formerly subdivided into 100 möngö.

Usage notes

Tugrik is the transliteration used in the ISO 4217 standard for currency names, and is therefore widely used in business and banking. CIA World Factbook also recognizes togrog, and Wikipedia has chosen tögrög as the main entry.
