NOURISH

Nour"ish, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Nourished; p. pr. & vb. n. Nourishing.] Etym: [OE. norisen, norischen, OF. nurir, nurrir, norir, F. norrir, fr. L. nutrire. Cf. Nurse, Nutriment, and see -ish.]
