Ky`nu*ren"ic, a. Etym: [Gr. (Physiol. Chem.)

Definition: Pertaining to, or designating, an acid obtained from the urine of dogs. By decomposition the acid yields a nitrogenous base (called kynurin) and carbonic acid. [Written also cynurenic.]
