Hen"de*cane, n. Etym: [Gr. "e`ndeka eleven.] (Chem.)

Definition: A hydrocarbon, C11H24, of the paraffin series; -- so called because it has eleven atoms of carbon in each molecule. Called also endecane, undecane.
