DEPLUME

De*plume", v. t. [imp. & p. p. Deplumed; p. pr. & vb. n. Depluming.] Etym: [LL. deplumare; L. de- + plumare to cover with feathers, pluma feather: cf. deplumis featherless, and F. déplumer.]
