1. A shout of approbation, favor, or assent; eager expression of
approval; loud applause.

2. (Antiq.)
Definition: A representation, in sculpture or on medals, of people
expressing joy. Acclamation medals are those on which laudatory
acclamations are recorded. Elmes.
